Ingredients

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder or carob for caffeine-free option
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • A few drops of liquid stevia or monk fruit to taste
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional 1 tbsp almond butter or sunflower seed butter

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Gently melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat (or use a bowl over hot water).

  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded coconut, cacao (or carob), cinnamon, salt, and sweetener.

  • If using almond or sunflower seed butter, stir it in until smooth and creamy.

  • Spoon the mixture into silicone molds, mini muffin tins, or a lined container.
  • Refrigerate or freeze for 30–60 minutes until set.
  • Pop out of molds and store in the fridge (they’ll melt at room temp).

Notes & Tips

  • Coconut oil – Choose virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil for its natural antifungal properties.
  • Nut or seed butter – Almond, sunflower seed, or tahini all work here. Avoid peanut butter during a Candida cleanse due to mold concerns.
  • Cacao powder – Go for raw, unsweetened cacao (not Dutch-processed cocoa) for max nutrients and no additives.
