  • Berberine effectively fights against five different Candida strains, including some that are harder to treat. Berberine was especially successful in stopping the growth of Candida biofilms, which are tough layers that protect the fungus (Xie et al., 2020).

  • Contains a chemical called  juglone, has been found as effective as some commercial anti-parasite drugs. Has been found to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Researchers have observed that black walnut extract can expel parasitic worms from the body (Islam et al., 2020).
  • Caprylic Acid
  • Sourced from coconut oil, caprylic acid penetrates and disrupts Candida cell membranes, leading to their breakdown. According to early research, caprylic acid “exhibits the most remarkable fungistatic and fungicidal properties of all the normal saturated fatty acids studied”. (Tsukahara 1961).
