What Is Pau Darco?

Pau d’Arco is a tree native to the Amazon rainforest and South America, well known for its medicinal bark. Known for its exceptionally hard wood and pink flowers, it has been used for centuries as a valuable source of hardwood timber, and in traditional medicine to address a wide variety of acute and chronic diseases.  

The Pau D’Arco tree, scientifically recognised as Handroanthus impetiginosus, or also know as (Tabebuia impetiginosa or Tabebuia avellanedae), is a beautiful tree with rose-colored flowers.
